This was my first visit. A unique atmosphere and experience with wonderful, excellent tasting food. Even though I am from South Florida, I will certainly add this place to my favorites to visit when nearby or traveling.

I have traveled far and wide over the course of my career and I make a significant effort to know and experience bbq from all around the world. This is, without a doubt, a hidden gem that needs to be experienced. If you enjoy a buttery brisket that is tender and flavorful... if you enjoy pulled pork that is tangy and has just the right amount of fat... then you will absolutely love this bbq joint. Don't stress over the fact that it's squirreled away next to a gas station - the locale is quaint and a little funky but the food is spectacular. If you're driving through or simply find yourself in the area and you love properly prepared bbq then you're going to be extremely pleased with this restaurant. My friends and I go once a month or so to the Okeechobee area and we always, *always* make time to stop here.

The sides were really bad. Do not order the coleslaw, its very sour and the baked beans are more of a soup than what they are supposed to be. The steak was obviously frozen for a couple days and ordering it rare meant it was still frozen on the inside. I hate to diss a small establishment but I definitely do not recommend.

Best burgers I've had in years. Medium is actually cooked medium!

Large portions, baby back ribs and brisket were excellent as were the braised cabbage and bbq bean sides. Service was with a smile. 😎 🇺🇸

Food was good, whoever is manning the pit knows what they are doing. Someone needs to learn how to cut brisket, perhaps the pit master should teach the kitchen staff the trick. The service was friendly, but could use some more training. I've been in the biz for over 40 years. Started out as a chick lit, before I became a full chick a dee!!!.

Food is good.....BUT, the place is very very VERY filthy!! The washrooms have clearly not been cleaned for YEARS!! Hope the kitchen is better???.

The pulled pork had absolutely no flavor and was not pulled pork but more like chunked pork. This place does a disservice to BBQ. Do yourself a favor and wait until you can have real BBQ from a place that knows how to flavor meat. Also, they didn’t even use real cheese on the Philly cheesesteak! In addition, the service was horrendous. The waitress had such an awful attitude and when my coworker went back in to get utensils she ignored him.

This is a must visit place. You definitely get more than your money's worth in food. The helpings are abundant and absolutely delicious. I got the combo dish of pork, ribs, chicken and brisket with 2 sides for $9.99. Will definitely go back there again.👍😍

Food was good, but the young waitress/bartender added a $6 tip to my CC when I gave her $6 cash tip. Being an restaurant manager I always give cash tip when using a card for tax reasons for them.

service a 4, collards a 4, baby back ribs were awfully big babies and not fall off the bone, fried chicken good, brisket pretty good. Like atmosphere, friendliness of staff and cleanliness. Would give it another shot for sure. The tacos looked fabulous.

This place is one of my favorites! Convenient rates, considerable portions and the staff members are consistently very friendly.

It ain't pretty, but it IS pretty delicious. Get the collard greens for real - they're the best I've ever had.

I ordered yellow rice today that was tough like it had been sitting too long. So I asked for the white rice which was also hard. Other than that food was good 👍

Everything was delicious , our waitress was super cool and very respectful, attentative. The other girl wrking in the walk thru menu in the back part, she was what we call “ojo alegre”. She was too busy staring at married men. Girl, don’t get burned you looking too hard. In other words she’s too busy flirting with the male customers. (She shows no respect for herself or self dignity, )we don’t go their for none of that.....or the other women with those men. Married men...... give up the starring and don’t be so obviously disrespectful to your customers.

Awful dried out food!! Waitress/bar tender offered sexual service for money. I am a construction worker on a site near by and went there being the closest place too job outside of McDonald’s or Burger King. Never again!!!
